Make Money Marketing With AdWords
Is Affiliate marketing with AdWords successful. You bet it is. AdWords done correctly makes money – lots of it. Google AdWords is the number one place to advertise on the Internet. That is why you see so many affiliates using AdWords for their PPC campaigns. Once you understand the techniques of Marketing with AdWords, and do it the correctly, you too will be successful.
Affiliate Marketing with AdWords takes time to learn, so don’t get discouraged or give up. I am still learning and I have been at this for a couple of years. And because Google keeps changing the rules, it is important to stay informed. You can subscribe to “inside AdWords” which is Google’s blog for news information and tips on AdWords to stay up to date on changes.
If you are already an affiliate marketing with AdWords to promote your products and you are not seeing the results you want, your campaigns may require some optimization. Maybe you are not getting enough exposure, or you are getting high click through’s but low conversions. Check to see what your daily budget is set at.
If you want to receive maximum exposure and traffic set the daily budget higher than what is recommended by Google. I know this may be a bit scary, it was to me when I first heard this, but it works –you will get more exposure. You will want to monitor this especially if you have a limited budget. Remember you can always reduce that amount to something that is comfortable.
Create Ad Groups that are tightly targeted. Write more ads, and use fewer keywords per ad. The keywords must be relevant to the ad. Do not just throw up a bunch of unrelated keywords. As an example for an ad promoting Carriage Clocks, I would use Antique Carriage Clocks, Mantel Carriage Clocks, Small Carriage Clocks – the theme is carriage clock. And I always use all three match types, broad, phrase and exact.
Be sure to put the keyword in the title and in the ad copy. This method improves your quality score. Once I incorporated this technique my quality score went from a three to a seven or eight within a few days.
You may want to control the cost per click based on the match type. Using the same amount for all three match types, broad, phrase or exact can result in a lot of traffic and this may be okay if you have an unlimited budget, but because I have limits I am looking for targeted traffic. So I will set the phrase and exact match higher than the broad match. And don’t forget those negative keywords. You don’t want your ad showing for unrelated keywords.
As an affiliate marketing with AdWords you will want to learn as many techniques as possible to ensure success. You may not use them all, but at least you will have them at your disposal.
