Three Simple Ways to Get Backlinks

We all know that back links from trusted sites contribute to ones own trust in search engines. The more quality links one has from site where have high page rank and trust from Google, the better your page will rank in Google as well as other top search engines. So here are 3 Quick and easy ways to build back links the free way. If you have an hour or so a day this can really contribute to lots of extra web traffic to your various pages of your site:

#1 Social Bookmarking sites

By submitting you site to social bookmarking sites which have high page rank and do not utilize the nofollow tags for their outbound links, you will get a tremendous boost in your rankings. You will also get lots of direct traffic as well. Make sure the anchor text in these links you bookmark are not all the same, otherwise it will look like spam to the search engines.

#2 Forums related to your topic

Some of the best ways to get quality on topic back links is to simply find forums on the topic you are involved with and post at the forums with a nice keyword rich signature linking to your pages. Make sure you do not spam the forums, but instead provide valuable content and replies to posts. Become a member of the community and the members will be more keen on clicking your signature links. One can easily make a dozen posts in a matter of 30 minutes, giving you a nice handful of quality back links. If you spam though you will do more harm then good, giving your site a bad reputation and likely quickly being banned from the forums.

#3 Blog commenting on dofollow blogs

Do a quick search in Google for “dofollow blogs” and you will have a list of quality, high page rank blogs which do not use the nofollow tags. Next search Google for “(your topic) blog” to quickly find the related blogs to your topic. I recommend downloading the Firefox add on SeoQuake, as it allows you to see which links at blogs use the nofollow tag and which do not. Just like with the forums, make sure to provide valid, quality replies to various blog posts. Spam will do much more harm then good.

These three strategies are just a start. Others include, using question and answer sites like Yahoo answer, writing articles, then submitting to article directories, and creating a blog around your topic, dropping links in all your posts to the pages you wish to get back links to.
