Email Marketing – Making Money From The Leads You Get

Want to know an excellent way to improve your business’s sales and profits? It’s simple! Just switch to the “opt-in email newsletter” model, and you will be good to go. So what is this model all about? It’s simply a 2-step process where you generate a lead, and then follow up on them with more information – sharing tips and advice on how accomplish a goal or solve a problem.

And if you didn’t already know, this is exactly how offline marketers promote their business. They generate a lead and then market to them 3 times in the first month, and then once per month every month after that. You get incredible conversion rates the longer you contact your leads every month. The same is true with internet marketing.

Now there are some things that you will want to do to get the most “bang” with your email marketing efforts. In today’s lesson, I intend on showing you how to make your email marketing efforts more effective, and how to make money from the leads that you receive. Here’s tip number 1:

1) Use text instead of HTML

You want to use text simply because it more than likely will end up in their inbox, and not their spam folder. With HTML emails, there’s no telling where your email will go to. A lot of email providers have images blocked by default, so if you have graphics and pictures in your emails, it’s going to look pretty odd for the person receiving your email.

This is why you will want to stick with text emails instead of HTML. You’re almost guaranteed for your message to land in your prospect’s inbox folder, plus it’s a great way to get straight to the point, and sell your readers on clicking through to your website link. Here’s another email marketing tip that you will want to use:

2) Deliver high quality content

Delivering good content is a must. How else are people going to tell whether or not your product or service is any good without sampling your expertise via your email newsletter? This is something that is very important, and if you want to get sales, you have to deliver great content.

Take it one step at a time. Make it a point to update your opt-in email newsletter every 3 to 5 days. Well basically, you will want to add new messages on a weekly basis. I personally strive to create new email content every 3 days, but sometimes I get behind. Luckily I don’t email everyday, which would probably upset my readers (because I would be a pest), and it would take me a lot of work to fit it into my daily marketing routine.

These 2 tips for email marketing success are things that you will want to do if you want to have the most success as possible for your internet business. Make it a point to integrate email marketing into your marketing campaign, and stay on top of it everyday. Strive to create new emails into your email marketing funnel, and make sure it’s full of great information.
